Silverton Banked Slalom - February 24th is SOLD OUT. EVENT IS AT CAPACITY>

This snowboard event, going into it’s 3rd year is a fundraiser to help kids in Silverton get into the sport of snowboarding. There is a financial barrier for some of the local kids who want to snowboard as part of the school curriculum. Come out and help support the sport and the local kids by racing the Silverton Banked Slalom. All funds raised will be matched by Idarado Media. In addition, any used snowboard equipment that you may want to donate to the school will be greatly appreciated!

 How it works

This will be a simple format. This is a one day event and each racer will choose their category based on age and ability. Each racer will get two runs down the course, your fastest time counts. Times for your second run will not be posted until awards ceremony. We have great prizes from Traeger Grills, Venture Snowboards, Patagonia, Smith, Smartwool and more. Participants will need to purchase a day ticket from Kendall Mountain or have a valid season pass to race. Awards will follow at an event space in Silverton Saturday night with music and beer provided by Ska.
